Apparently, even the Clintons are finally coming to the realization that they LOST to Donald Trump. In fact, according to CNN, both Bill and Hillary Clinton announced today that they WILL be attending Trump’s inauguration and swearing in ceremony.
The rumor swirling around the media channels right now is that they were considering skipping until former President George W Bush sent in his own RSVP for the event.
However, the Bushes were at least nice enough to release a positive message from a spokesperson, something the Clintons did not do,
“THEY ARE PLEASED TO BE ABLE TO WITNESS THE PEACEFUL TRANSFER OF POWER – A HALLMARK OF AMERICAN DEMOCRACY – AND SWEARING-IN OF PRESIDENT TRUMP AND VICE PRESIDENT PENCE.”
George Bush Sr will NOT attend because of his age.
The real sweet irony here is the one former President who was not a total ass about attending and RSVP’d the second Trump won was Jimmy Carter.
The really sad thing here is how long it took for these elitist families to get over their grudges. It is a long-standing American tradition for former presidents and the LOSER from the election to attend the inauguration to represent a peaceful transition of power.
Of course, there has been nothing “peaceful” about this year. We have seen the Clinton Campaign spark riots, attacks on electors, and every other dirty trick they could think of since losing to Donald Trump.
Thank God America finally looks like it is getting back on track, meaning we can now work hand-in-hand with our American Brothers and Sisters from different races and religions to make this amazing country GREAT again!!
